2010 Virgin London Marathon information:

Guide to the marathon procedure:

  1. End of January 2010 we (at APEC) put every runners email address into the online marathon website to fill our allotted spaces.
  2. The marathon company will send you an email asking you to confirm that you want to run, you might either need to reply to the email or print it out and send it back to them.
  3. Once the marathon company has received confirmation from you it will show online to us.
  4. From mid March to the first week in April the marathon company with either email/post you your running details as well as the ‘guide to the V.L.M.’ magazine ( which has dates, times, starting and running information, as well as information for spectators and what happens at the end of the race.
  5. You will need to take the running details you will receive to registration with a valid passport to prove your identity on the dates in the previous email.
  6. Once you have completed the registration in London (details on where it will be will be in the April marathon magazine).
  7. It’s race day!

In case you have more questions further in depth about running the marathon, please contact the marathon company www.virginlondonmarathon.com as because Virgin are sponsoring the marathon instead of Flora, information that we have had for previous years might change and we only get the information in the magazine like you in April.
