The
helpline
Telephone: 020 8427 4217
Action on Pre-eclampsia runs a confidential service open
to anyone seeking information or support. We receive calls
from pregnant women, those who have experienced pre-eclampsia,
concerned relatives and health professionals. Alternatively,
you can email us or write to us and we will answer all letters
personally and in confidence.
The
helpline is open every weekday from 10am-3pm. Because we
are a small team, there are times when the helpline is closed.
If you cannot get through, please leave a message and we
will return your call as soon as possible.
If
you are not feeling well, please contact your health professional.

The
befriending service
Telephone: 020 8427 4217
This service offers continuing support at a more local level.
You will be referred from the helpline, and there is no
charge for this service. Our befrienders are all members
who have received special in-house training in listening
and support skills.
The
expert referral scheme
We have a list of experts on pre-eclampsia who have agreed
to offer one-off consultations or second opinions to members
and those with queries; in most cases, subject to the approval
of the referring health authorities. For further information,
contact the helpline or click here to see the list.
